This week in Canadian grants: $9,000,000 closes Sept. 7

A $9,000,000 research deadline leads this week’s board, with 55 newly published grants and 99 more closing within 14 days.

The biggest deadline on this week’s board is $9,000,000 through Terry Fox New Frontiers Program Project Grants, closing Sept. 7.

Up to $750,000: NSERC–National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) call for proposals on quantum technologies is open until Oct. 7 for bilateral Canada–Korea research projects in quantum science and technologies.

Up to $500,000: Foundations of Disaster Risk Reduction is open until Nov. 20 for local governments and related applicants working on natural hazard and climate risk reduction planning and design.

Up to $300,000: Participatory Action Research Grants opens Oct. 13 for health-related research projects using participatory action research methods.

Up to $250,000: On-Reserve Wildfire Resiliency Program is open until Dec. 1 for First Nations communities in British Columbia strengthening community and landscape wildfire resiliency.

Up to $200,000: EcoAction Stream 2: Freshwater Sustainability and Innovation across Canada is open until Sept. 23 for projects improving freshwater quality and ecosystem health across Canada.
